Genuine German Starter AKS1518 For Your Classic BMW Motorrad (8-Tooth, 12V)

Got a classic BMW bike from the '70s?

This is the starter you've been hunting for.

It's a brand new AKS1518 from Teilemaxx in Germany, so you're getting that authentic quality.

It's a straight-up replacement for all those old Beemers like the R50/5, R60/5, R60/6, R75/5, R75/6, R90/6, and even the R90S.

Just check your tooth count—this one has 8 teeth, which is the one you need for a bunch of models.

It runs on 12V and has 2 contacts, just like the original.

We're talking direct swap for part numbers 0001157007, 0001157015, and all those BMW ones like 12411243181.

If your old one is clicking or doing nothing, save yourself the headache of rebuilding and just put this German-made unit in.

It'll have you back on the road, listening to that flat twin rumble, in no time.
