Saab 12797855 LED Replacement For 2010-2011 9-5 3rd Brake Light - DIY Modification Required

Alright, Saab 9-5 owners, listen up.

You know that third brake light is basically impossible to find, right?

Well, here's a smart workaround.

This is a genuine Volvo LED unit (part 12797855) that you can make fit with a little bit of elbow grease.

It's used, but the seller has done this on their own 9-5 and laid it all out: grab a dremel, trim your original housing just a smidge, and secure it with a couple dabs of hot glue.

Takes about 10 minutes.

It fits right in place of the original, non-serviceable unit and functions perfectly.

It'll save your car from getting rear-ended.

Just know, it needs modification—it's not a direct bolt-in.

But if you're handy, this is the solution you've been hunting for.
