Backflow Prevention: ProFlo 3/4" MHT Solid Brass Garden Hose Vacuum Breaker
About this item
Protect your home's water supply from contamination with this ProFlo vacuum breaker.
It's a simple but crucial device that screws onto your outdoor faucet (the 3/4\ male hose threads) and prevents dirty water from being siphoning back into your house's pipes.
It's made from solid brass, so it's durable and corrosion-resistant.
The model is PFXVB, and it meets ANSI NSF 372 and ASSE standards, so you know it's legit.
It can handle up to 125 PSI working pressure and bursts at 350 PSI, so it's tough.
It also helps prevent freeze damage by allowing water to drain out.
Installation is as easy as screwing it on.
It comes with a slightly funny Prop 65 warning (gotta love California), but the product itself is a serious, necessary piece of gear for any home.
Keep your drinking water safe with this solid brass ProFlo breaker.
