Or maybe it finally gave up?

This IMC Audio replacement remote has you covered.

It works with a bunch of popular Pioneer models: AVH4100NEX, AVH4200NEX, AVH4201NEX, AVH600EX, and AVHP8400BH.

Part number IMC CD-R33-2.

It's a brand-new, unbranded replacement that does all the basic stuff—volume, track skip, source, etc.

Just plug in (with batteries, not included) and control your tunes from the couch or back seat.

Simple, functional, and way cheaper than a whole new head unit.
