WEST CAP .25uF 1000V DC Paper In Oil 'Bathtub' Capacitor – NOS Vintage Audio Gem

Here's a beauty for the audio nerds and vintage gear restorers out there.

This is a New Old Stock WEST CAP paper-in-oil capacitor, often called the 'bathtub' style because of that metal casing.

It's rated at .25 microfarads and can handle a whopping 1000V DC.

The part number is C85026-22.

These things are legendary for guitar amps and old hi-fi gear because of the warm tone they produce compared to modern ceramics.

Since it's NOS, the box might show its age, but the component itself is unused and undamaged, hermetically sealed to keep that oil inside where it belongs.

If you're building a killer tube amp or recapping a vintage radio, snatch this up.

They don't make 'em like this anymore.

Remember to discharge it properly before handling—1000V is no joke!
