Live American Cranberry Plant (Viburnum Opulus Var. Americanum) – 6-8" Dormant

Add some native beauty (and edible berries) to your landscape with this live American Cranberry plant.

It’s Viburnum opulus var.

americanum, a classic shrub for temperate climates.

It offers white flowers in spring, lobed green leaves in summer, bright red berries in fall, and red fall color before going dormant.

The berries can be used for jams and jellies (though they’re tart raw).

This plant ships at 6-8 inches tall and is currently dormant (October–March), so it’ll have no leaves—just stems with buds ready to pop in spring.

It’s grown by Dylman Gardens in New York.

It likes full sun to partial shade and medium water.

Cold resistant, deciduous, and safe for kids and pets (the berries are edible when cooked).

A great addition to a wildlife garden or edible landscape.

Follow the included dormant planting instructions for best results.
