About this item
Hear a squealing noise from your engine?
Could be a worn-out belt tensioner.
This VAP-Autoparts serpentine belt tensioner is a direct replacement for many Dodge, Jeep, and Chrysler vehicles with the 2.4L, 3.3L, or 3.8L engines—like the Town & Country.
It replaces OEM part numbers 4861277AB and 4861277AD, as well as cross numbers like 2008-203337 and G6001-3742.
The tensioner comes complete with the pulley already installed, so it's ready to bolt on.
It's made with an aluminum body and meets original equipment specs.
It mounts on the front of the engine and keeps the proper tension on your serpentine belt, ensuring your alternator, water pump, and A/C work right.
Comes with a 2-year warranty.
If you're doing a belt replacement, it's smart to do the tensioner at the same time.
This is the part to do it right.
