Crank Angle Position Sensor For HSV VE Clubsport R8 6.0L 6.2L LS2 LS3

If your HSV VE Clubsport or R8 is throwing a crank sensor code or just won't start, this crank angle position sensor might be the culprit.

It's designed for the 6.0L LS2 and 6.2L LS3 engines, so if you're running one of those beasts, this is the part you need.

It's a direct fit with a 3-wire connector, male type, and it mounts in the engine compartment.\n\nThe OEM reference is 12585546, and it crosses with a bunch of numbers: CAS-159, SC223, CSCA353, TCAS186, EH0403, SC552.

So if any of those ring a bell, you're in the right place.

This is a brand new sensor from Icon, part number CAS159MVP.6, and it comes with a 2-year warranty.\n\nInstallation is simple—unplug the old one, bolt this one in, and plug it up.

Just make sure the engine is cool.

If your LS-powered HSV is cranking but not firing, this sensor is a smart first step.

Get that crank signal back and feel the power.
