SATA Hard Drive FPC Cable For Sony VAIO VGN-SR M751 – 1P-1087M00-2111 / NKCH22
About this item
If your Sony VAIO VGN-SR M751 laptop isn't detecting the hard drive, the problem might be this little ribbon cable.
This is a brand new SATA hard drive FPC (flexible printed circuit) cable, specifically for that model.
It's the little ribbon that connects the hard drive to the motherboard.
Part numbers for this include 1P-1087M00-2111 and NKCH22.
It's a common failure point on older laptops.
This is an unbranded replacement part, made in China, but it's new and ready to go.
If you're comfortable cracking open your VAIO, this could save you from having to replace the whole laptop.
A cheap fix for a frustrating problem.
