Set Of 4 Pistons With Cast Rings For Mercruiser Marine 470/470R/488R – Ford 3.7L 224ci STD Bore
About this item
Rebuilding your Mercruiser marine engine?
This piston set is exactly what you need for a solid refresh.
It includes four cast pistons plus cast piston rings, all designed for the Mercruiser 470, 470R, and 488R engines, which are based on the Ford 3.7L 224ci block.
The pistons are standard bore size and come with wrist pins already installed, so you're ready to drop them in.
They're manufactured by Falcon Marine in India and meet or exceed OEM specifications.
The set supersedes older numbers like H535P and crosses with Silvolite 3191H and 3191HC.
Please note, this is a performance-replacement part, not a universal fit, so it's specifically for these Mercruiser applications.
It comes with a 3-month warranty and includes a California Prop 65 warning, as is common with many automotive and marine parts.
If you're in the middle of a rebuild or just need to refresh worn slugs, this set offers great value and reliable performance on the water.
