RTL-SDR Blog V3 R820T2 RTL2832U 0.5PPM TCXO USB Software Defined Radio With Antenna
About this item
Hey radio fans!
Ready to dive into the world of software-defined radio?
This little dongle is your ticket.
It's the popular RTL-SDR model based on the RTL2832U and R820T2 chips, and this version comes with a 0.5ppm temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) for better stability—meaning it stays on frequency without drifting.
Just plug it into your computer's USB port, fire up some free software, and you can start listening to everything from aircraft band and police/fire (where legal) to amateur radio, FM broadcast, and even NOAA weather satellite images.
It covers VHF and UHF bands and supports AM, CW, and FM modes.
It's made in China and comes with a 1-year warranty.
It's an unbranded unit, but it's the same rock-solid design that the whole SDR community uses.
A perfect starter kit for any tech enthusiast or ham operator.
