Sig Sauer P228 / P229 Solid Stainless Steel Guide Rod – Direct Factory Replacement Part
About this item
Alright, listen up.
If you're building or maintaining a classic P228 or P229, you know the factory guide rod does the job, but why settle for stock when you can upgrade to solid steel?
This is a brand new, unused Sig Sauer OEM-grade stainless steel guide rod.
It’s exactly what you’d get if you ordered it directly from the manufacturer’s parts department—just without the wait.
Made right here in the USA from durable stainless steel, this rod is a direct drop-in replacement for your handgun.
It adds a bit of weight up front to help manage recoil and just feels more solid in the hand.
Whether you’re at the range or carrying for duty, this is one of those small upgrades that makes a noticeable difference.
No modifications needed, no fitting required.
Just pop out the old one and drop this bad boy in.
It’s the little things that make a Sig feel like a Sig.
Get yours today and tighten up that front end.
