OEM KitchenAid WP16897 Mixer Planetary Shaft Bearing – Genuine Whirlpool Part
About this item
Alright, if your KitchenAid stand mixer is making a horrible noise or the head is wobbling, you might need this planetary shaft bearing.
This is the genuine OEM part, number WP16897.
It's brand new, a factory original part, not some aftermarket copy.
It fits KitchenAid mixers, but it's also compatible with Whirlpool, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Amana, and Kenmore brands.
It's the bearing that sits in the top of the mixer and lets the planetary assembly spin smoothly.
It's silver, made of metal, and it's an electric mixer part.
The MPN is WP16897, and it also crosses with AP6005647, 16897, 4176136, and PS11738699.
It comes with a 1-month warranty.
Just a heads up, it has a California Prop 65 warning, as many metal parts do.
If you're handy with repairs, swapping this bearing can bring your old mixer back to life.
Get it spinning smooth again.
