Magnetic Levitating Solar Motor DIY Kit – Mendocino Educational Model 300-1500rpm
About this item
This is one of those cool projects that actually teaches you something while being fun to build—the Mendocino-style magnetic levitating solar motor.
It runs on solar power, so no batteries needed, just sunlight.
The motor speed ranges from 300 to 1500 rpm depending on light, and it runs on 12V with up to 100W.
Perfect for DIY hobbyists, teachers, or anyone curious about renewable energy and magnetism.
The rotor floats magnetically, so it's smooth and frictionless.
Unbranded, but the concept is solid.
Great for a classroom demo or just geeking out at home.
