VR Voltage Regulator Heatsink Module 0612F7 / 612F7 – Drop-in Fit For Dell XPS 8940, 7080, G5 Desktops

If your Dell XPS 8940, 7080, or G5 is running hot or acting glitchy, it might be time to check the voltage regulator module—and this is the heatsink that keeps it cool.

Part numbers 0612F7 and 612F7 are the ones Dell uses in these machines.

This is a brand-new, unbranded replacement that just drops in.

No drivers, no software updates—just a straightforward hardware swap.

It comes in basic packaging, maybe a plain bag or box, but the part itself does exactly what it’s supposed to: dissipate heat from the VRM so your system stays stable under load.

Whether you're troubleshooting or building a custom setup, having a fresh heatsink can make a difference in performance and longevity.

Just make sure your board calls for this model before you buy.
