Ottocast Car TV Mate HDMI Adapter - Wired To Wireless CarPlay Converter For OEM Systems
About this item
If your car came with a factory wired Apple CarPlay system, but you're tired of plugging your phone in every time, this Ottocast Car TV Mate is the solution.
It's a small adapter that plugs into your car's USB port and HDMI input (if available) to convert your wired CarPlay into a wireless connection.
It runs on a Linux OS and has 128MB RAM and 16MB ROM.
It supports video playback via a USB flash drive (up to 128GB) but note that you cannot download additional apps onto it.
The HDMI input supports up to 2K resolution.
It's powered via USB.
Please note: This is for cars with OEM wired CarPlay.
A quick heads-up for Mitsubishi owners: you'll need an additional Y-cable for it to work.
Just plug it in, pair your phone once, and from then on, CarPlay connects automatically when you get in the car.
