Dorman Door Latch Striker Bolt For 82-99 Chevy Trucks – Driver Or Passenger Side, Part 38428

This is a Dorman door latch striker bolt, part number 38428, designed to fit a wide range of Chevy trucks from 1982 to 1999.

If your door isn’t closing quite right, or if it rattles while you’re driving, a worn striker could be the issue.

This is the metal loop that the door latch grabs onto, and over time it can wear out or get bent.

This replacement is a direct fit for both driver and passenger side doors on many models.

It’s a simple part, but it makes a big difference in how solid the door feels when it closes.

Dorman is a trusted brand in the automotive aftermarket, so you’re getting a quality replacement.

Installation is straightforward with basic hand tools.

Check your fitment, and if this matches your truck, it’s an easy fix for a common problem.

Don’t let a sagging door drive you nuts—swap the striker and get that solid click back.
