About this item
Okay Jeep fam, listen up.
If you've got a '97 to '06 Wrangler TJ, you know that stock tailgate hinge wasn't really made to hold a heavy spare tire forever.
It starts to sag and rattle, and that's no good.
This Hooke Road kit is the solution.
It's a rear door hinge reinforcement kit, part number MMR.10069.
This thing is made from solid steel and has a tough, textured powder-coated black finish, so it's gonna last.
It reinforces the whole tailgate hinge area so you can run that bigger spare tire without worrying about your gate falling off.
It's a direct bolt-on kit, specifically for your TJ.
The dimensions are about 35 inches long and 13 inches wide.
Installation is pretty straightforward and makes a world of difference.
It even comes with a 1-year warranty.
Stop fighting with a sagging gate and give your rig some solid support with this Hooke Road kit.
You'll be glad you did.
