US Military Issue Binocular Eyepiece Dust Cover – Fits Steiner M22 X22 – NSN 1240
About this item
Alright, this is the real deal—genuine US military issue eyepiece dust cover.
It's made for the Steiner M22 and X22 binoculars, the ones you see in the field.
The NSN is 1240-01-252-8073, and the manufacturer part number is 12599193.
It's that classic forest green, jungle green color.
It fits right over the eyepiece cups and even has integrated loops so you can attach it to the neck strap and not lose it.
It's not just for the M22/X22, though.
It might also fit other Steiner models like the M1050R, M830R, or the M750R.
Measurements are about 1.75 by 4.5 inches.
It's a simple thing, but it keeps the dust and crap off your lenses when you're out in the field or just storing them.
Made in the USA, genuine surplus.
If you've got a pair of these military-spec binos, this is the cover you need.
