Drive Belt Idler Pulley Set For BMW E39 E38 E53 (540i, 740i, X5) – 2 Pulleys With Bracket, 11287515865
About this item
If you own a BMW like the E39 540i, E38 740i, or an E53 X5, you might eventually hear a little chirp or squeak from the engine bay.
That’s often a sign your idler pulleys are worn out.
This kit has you covered.
It comes with two pulleys and the bracket you need, making it a direct replacement for a bunch of BMW models with V8 or V12 engines—like the 4.4L, 4.8L, and even the 6.0L.
The part numbers cross with 11287515865 and a few others.
Both pulleys have a smooth surface, no flanges, and they’re made from durable thermoplastic.
The specs are spot on: 70mm outside diameter, 17mm bore, and 28mm wide.
It’s a brand new, unbranded kit but it fits like a glove.
Plus, it comes with a 1-year warranty, so you’re covered if anything goes wrong.
Swapping these out can smooth out your engine’s accessory drive and save you from a belt failure down the road.
It’s a solid DIY fix for a common BMW issue.
