AMD EPYC 9654 96-Core Processor | 2.4GHz SP5 360W Unlocked Used
About this item
Okay, this is a beast of a processor.
The AMD EPYC 9654 packs 96 cores running at 2.4GHz, with a massive 384MB cache.
It's built for serious workloads—think heavy virtualization, content creation, or number-crunching tasks that would bring lesser CPUs to their knees.
This particular unit is used but tested good, and the big news is it's UNLOCKED with no vendor lock, so you've got flexibility with your build.
It's the SP5 socket type and has a 360W TDP, so you'll need proper cooling and a motherboard that can handle it.
The part number is 100-000000789, so you can double-check compatibility.
If you're building a workstation or server that needs to chew through massive parallel tasks, this chip is a monster.
Just be aware it's a used pull, but it's been verified working.
For the price compared to new, this could be a steal if you need this kind of insane core count.
