Hey, if your older Audi is idling rough or stalling, the idle air control valve might be the culprit.

This one is for a bunch of models: Audi 80, 100, A6, S2, S6, with the 2.0, 2.2, and 2.3 liter engines.

It's a stepper motor type valve that controls the air bypassing the throttle plate at idle.
