Hammond 1598DBK Black ABS Plastic Enclosure With Aluminum End Panels - 180x206x64mm IP54
About this item
If you're building an electronic project—a preamp, a controller, a custom interface—you need a box to put it in.
This Hammond 1598DBK is a perfect choice.
It's a sturdy black ABS plastic enclosure, but the cool part is the ends: they're aluminum.
That gives it a professional, rugged look and adds some strength.\n\nInside dimensions are roughly 180mm long, 206mm wide, and 64mm tall.
It's a square-ish shape, great for packing in PCBs, transformers, or whatever your project needs.
The IP54 rating means it's protected against dust and splashing water, so it's fine for a workbench or even light outdoor use.\n\nThe brand on the listing says Philmore, but this is the classic Hammond 1598 series design.
The end panels are aluminum, so they're easy to drill and machine for your connectors, switches, and jacks.
If you're tired of flimsy plastic boxes, this Hammond is a solid upgrade.
It's new in the box, ready for your next build.
