12 Volt Starter For OMC Marine Engines – 2.5L, 3.0L, 3.8L, 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L
About this item
Boat won’t turn over?
Starter might be toast.
This is a brand new 12-volt starter made for OMC marine engines.
It fits a ton of different sizes: 2.5L, 3.0L, 3.8L, 4.3L, 5.0L, and 5.7L.
So whether you’ve got a small runabout or a bigger cruiser, this should get you back on the water.
It’s from Discount Starters and Alternators, part number 16385DSA23656B.
It’s a straight-up replacement—no mods needed if your old one is the same spec.
Built to handle the marine environment, so it’s corrosion-resistant where it counts.
Comes new in the box, ready to install.
No core charge nonsense, just the starter.
If your engine cranks slow or not at all, swap this in and you’ll probably be good to go.
Always double-check your old one matches, but these are pretty common across the OMC lineup.
