They're designed for vertical mounting on metal deck, purlin, or tubular steel.

You're hanging 3/8-inch threaded rod with these.

They're made from steel with an electro-zinc finish, so they've got some corrosion resistance.

These things are rated and approved—they carry UL and FM approvals.

Pullout strength is rated at 1783 lbs for 16 ga steel.

They're UL tested to 1500 lbs for a 4-inch pipe.

You'll need the special Sammys X-Press IT Installation Tool (part 8194910) to set these fast.

The head is 5/8 AF and end-drilled.
