Wondson Shortwave UV Flashlight 254nm UVC Torch For Fluorescent Minerals - Rechargeable
About this item
Alright, rockhounds and science nerds, this one's for you!
Check out this Wondson SLW002 shortwave UV flashlight.
It pushes out that hard-to-find 254nm UVC light, which is perfect for making fluorescent minerals pop like crazy.
It's not for tanning or anything, but for hunting down that sweet glow in rocks, it's a total game-changer.
The body is machined aluminum, black, and feels solid in your hand.
It's 133mm long and runs on one 18650 battery (the listing says it includes batteries, so you should be good to go right out of the box).
It's got an IP44 rating, so it can handle a splash.
Just keep in mind, for the best effect with this wavelength, you really want to be up close, within about 10cm of whatever you're looking at.
It's a handheld, rechargeable beast.
Made in China, it's your new best friend for late-night geology adventures.
