About this item
Got an older Mac, PC, or DV camera that needs a FireWire connection?
KABLENATION’s got you covered with this reliable 9-pin to 4-pin IEEE-1394 cable.
It connects your FireWire 800 (9-pin) devices to FireWire 400 (4-pin) ports, or vice versa.
It’s perfect for hooking up older external hard drives, DV camcorders for video capture, or any legacy gear that uses this standard.
It supports speeds up to 800 Mbps on the 9-pin side and 400 Mbps on the 4-pin side, so it’s great for transferring video or large files.
You can pick the length that works for your setup: 3 feet, 6 feet, or 10 feet.
The connectors are sturdy, and the cable’s in black.
It’s bilingual packaging, too.
If you’re digging through the tech closet or still editing on older gear, this is the exact cable you need to make that connection.
